Dr. Lauren Golden
Owner and Chiropractic PhysicianHi!! My name is Dr. Lauren Golden and I am married to Dr. Nathan Bowker, owner and chiropractor of Bowker Chiropractic in the South Charlotte area. I have two little ones, Brynlee and Kayce who are my world! My littlest one is rockin’ Down Syndrome like a champ, and I feel blessed to be apart of the DS Community. Being a mom is on of my favorite titles! We love to hangout with family and friends and you can almost always find us hanging out in our garage with a group of people laughing and having fun!
I am a highly experienced chiropractor who specializes in prenatal, postpartum and pediatric chiropractic care. I was born and raised in Scranton, PA. I attended the Pennsylvania State University where I received a Bachelors of Arts and Science and then continued on for my chiropractic training at the esteemed Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC.
I had my first child in August 2021 at home and experiencing the beautiful journey of birth and postpartum made me even more passionate to help all moms and their babies to experience the birth of their dreams, navigate through postpartum with ease and support, and help their families live to their utmost potential by getting to the root cause of their health issues. Following my doctorate from Sherman college, I proceeded to take another 180 hour course, becoming further certified in ICPA pediatric chiropractic and receiving my Webster Technique Certification.
I am a trained DONA birth doula, helping women have the birth of their dreams. I am also a BIRTHFIT Provider to help women during their postpartum journey as well as a Certified Fertility Coach focusing on helping women get pregnant, naturally. I am also a PX Certified and trained doctor. We are experts in Pediatric, Prenatal, and Family Neurologically-Focused Chiropractic Care. I pride myself on my reputation of providing compassionate and effective chiropractic care for everyone of all ages, especially the prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric population.
Fun Facts
one.I have had 2 home births with both of my babies. They were the two most amazing experiences in my life.
two.My second birth did come with a little surprise- my son was diagnosed with Down Syndrome at birth and even though it brought a lot of fears and unknowns, I couldn’t be more excited for his future and to be his momma.
three.I actually got a degree in Dance in College. I studied dance for 22 years before I decided to change career paths and become a chiropractor…and so happy I did!
Meet Clairey Lynette
Chiropractic AssistantClairey is from Rock Hill, SC and is a mom if two beautiful girls. She enjoys hand embroidery, crocheting and cooking. When she is not in the office, you can catch her at the park, zoo, or in the backyard with her babies. She hopes to become a lactation consultant one day once her kids are school age to help better serve all the mamas in their breastfeeding journey.
